László Hunyadi studied at the Faculty of Science of Eötvös Loránd University, where he majored in regional and urban development. His thesis focused on the role of substitute currencies in local economic development. He began his career in public administration in 2015 at the State Secretariat for the Implementation of Economic Development Programs within the Ministry for National Economy. From 2017, as an expert at the State Secretariat for Economic Development and Regulation, he started working on enterprise development. In April 2021, he became the head of department for enterprise development at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, and from November 2021, he served as the head of the division. He was also appointed as Hungary's SME Envoy within the SME Envoy Network operated by the European Commission. Since September 15, 2024, he has held the position of Deputy State Secretary for Enterprise Development at the Ministry for National Economy. In this role, his responsibilities include the development and implementation of the enterprise development strategy, the Széchenyi Card Program, and economic development programs co-financed by the European Union.
