CEO, Finext Startup
Iván Halász has more than 15 years in the finance and VC/PE industries. He started his career as an analyst at BlackRock Inc. in NYC; Returning to Hungary he has been active in the VC industry having worked at the First Hungary Fund and at Euroventures. In 2010 he co-founded Finext Startup Venture Capital Fund Management Ltd where he continues to be the managing partner. He has participated in over 20 investments, including NABI, SkyEurope, Fathom/EPAM, Intellisense and Optoforce. He received his MBA from INSEAD in 2004; He served on the board of the Hungarian Venture Capital Association between 2007 and 2010.
